Some Words About Us

English Heritage Homes TeamMarcus Taylor, President of English Heritage Homes of Texas, has over 25 years of construction experience under his belt, experience that he applies to every unique construction that English Heritage Homes of Texas creates.

English Heritage Homes of Texas was formed in 1995 to carry out residential remodels and new construction. The formation of this business marked the beginning of a fourth generation of Taylors working in the construction business, a family trade that traces its roots all the way back to pre-World War 2 England.

One of the most important focuses of the business has always been on character—quality and integrity have allowed the business to grow through referrals, from both architects and previous clients, and during that time, emphasis has been put on forward planning and high levels of supervision. This is the secret to the success of English Heritage Homes of Texas—Supervision on a day to day basis, with supervisory staff reporting directly to the owner.

Stylized ConstructionSince inception in the region, untold dozens of projects have been completed, ranging from high-rise apartments and new construction up to 20,000 sq. ft. to remodels and additions to existing homes. Luxury Edition Homes, Build-to-Suit, and Green Built Homes are our specialty.

We have been honored to work in some of the finest areas of Dallas, Texas, such as Highland Park, University Park, Preston Hollow, Lakewood, Forest Hills, Oak Cliff, and Frisco. We look forward to continuing to work in this amazing and ever-expanding part of Texas—beautiful DFW.

Communication is Key

For our clients, we believe that familiarity with their individual project eliminates many of the challenges faced in remodeling and construction. Through retaining a thorough paper trail, detailed contracts, change orders, invoicing, and statements, our communication with you, the client, is vital in keeping you up-to-date with your individual project. We prefer to meet with you on a regular basis during your project to make sure that your needs and expectations are being met. At English Heritage Homes of Texas, your needs always come first.

The company’s subcontractors have been carefully chosen to carry out work to the highest standards demanded by the owners, and indeed, several now work exclusively for English Heritage Homes of Texas.

During these times of economic uncertainty, English Heritage Homes of Texas maintains a steady work schedule and plans to continue building for many more years to come. You can rest assured that a home begun with English Heritage Homes of Texas will be completed and covered by our warranties.
